Comics & Culture: A Shared Journey from France and India

Join us at Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts for Comics & Culture: A Shared Journey from France and India with artists Lokesh Khodke and Jean-Marc Troubet “Troubs”.

Comics are a powerful storytelling medium, capturing both personal experiences and the world around us. Troubs (France) and Khodke (India) bring their distinct artistic perspectives to this session, offering insights into the creative process behind comics. The presentation will explore the challenges and inspirations that shape their work, from conception to publication.

This joint-residency has been organised within the framework of the Villa Swagatam network of residencies, an initiative of the French Embassy in India and the French Institute in India. The residency partners are Sunaparanta Goa Centre for the Arts (Artist-in-Residence Lab) and Maison des Auteurs and La Cité Internationale de la Bande Dessinée et de l'Image (Angoulême, France).
