The Bride Who Could Not Stop Crying, 2023
Based on a research around traditional embroideries made by women in the Slavic tradition, The Bride Who Could Not Stop Crying is a single-player role-playing game where players assume the character of a bride who cannot stop crying on her wedding day. As she goes about interacting with other women in her family and mythical characters in the embroideries they make, the reactions and choices of the player are reflected in the “tear meter” of the bride. The game has three possible endings depending on the choices that the bride makes.
